1. How many subscription licenses do I need to purchase?

2. Do I need to purchase a support subscription along with a product license purchase?

Answer: No! You can purchase a support subscription as and when you need to.

Note that the initial technical support is free only for the first twelve months (starting from the date of purchase) and hence we would advise you to buy a subscription anytime within the first twelve months, so that you continue to enjoy the technical support and version upgrades without having to have a break in the continued technical support you may need.


FAQs:

1. Can we install your controls into the GAC (Global Assembly Cache)?

Answer: Yes! All our controls are built with "Strong name", and hence you can, if you want, install any of our controls into your GAC.


2. How do I bring your controls into the toolbox in Visual Studio 2005?

Answer: After completing installation of our control, open your Visual Studio 2005 project and do the following to bring the controls into your toolbox -
  • Open any windows Form design file, so that your Visual Studio 2005 Toolbox shows up.
  • Go to the folder where you had installed our controls/components, and pick the assembly file (the .dll file) and drag-and-drop it directly into the Visual Studio 2005 Toolbox surface.

  • For keyboard-only users: Use the Visual Stuido 2005 menu Tools | Choose Toolbox Items..., and once the dialog shows up, browse to the control/component's install folder and select the .dll assembly, so Visual Studio 2005 can add the control/component to its Toolbox.

3. I am developing my .NET applications using VB.NET! Can I use your .NET controls in my VB.NET applications?

Answer: Yes! Our .NET controls are perfectly usable from any .NET compliant language, including VB.NET!


4. Can we read through a copy of your various product's generic License Agreement file now?

Answer: Sure. Please click here to read through a copy of a generic License agreement file which is the same across all of our products.


5. What is your refund policy?

Answer: We have evaluation downloads available for all of our products (that are available for license purchase) and hence we would recommend that you download the evaluation copy of the product and fully test it in your test environment and once you are happy that the product suits your needs and works well, then purchase the product license(s).

Since we allow you to freely download and test (in your test environment) all of our product's evaluation versions, we do not allow refund of any purchase price paid for the retail versions.

Note that the evaluation version of our products carry all of the features that are available in the retail / full license version and hence you can fully test our evaluation version of our products completely before you purchase any retail/full product licenses from us.


6. What is your version upgrade policy?

Answer: It is our corporate policy to keep all our customers updated with the latest versions of the purchased controls and tools.

Since there are strict spam email policies in place everywhere, which we respect, we are unable to send out upgrade notices and upgrades to our customers through e-mail, and hence all our customers are hereby requested to visit our web site and request us through email for receiving the product version upgrades.

You could also consider purchasing a subscription license, which will entitle you to cost-free version upgrades for a period longer than the initial free 12 months!

When making upgrade requests, please describe, in the email message body, your purchased control's Retail license key(s) and its date of purchase(s), and the name of the product!

7. I attempted to purchase one of your controls, and although I used a valid credit card, Regnow.com returned an error message that the credit card authorisation had failed? Why did that happen?

Answer: 99.9% of the time, Regnow.com system processes your purchase requests successfully! At times when it does fail, please retry your purchase attempt and you should be fine.
